SouthEastCon 2014 occurred Thursday March 13 through Sunday March 16 in Lexington, Kentucky. The weeks of preparation paid off for CBU IEEE students: CBU won 1st place in the Student Paper Competition and 2nd place in the student T-shirt competition. Shilpa Appurubugatha, Sean Dantis, and Matthew Winters presented their stunning paper entitled “Escape from the Minefield” and won the judges over with their excellent presentation. The witty T-shirt proclaiming “EE’s are so cool they need to be grounded” made the judges chuckle and won 2nd place in T-shirts. Thanks to everyone who participated in the competitions!
